The more than four dozen lemonade stands around Phelps County last weekend raised enough money plus a little extra to meet the requests of 10 groups or agencies that help prevent child abuse and neglect.The 21st annual "Take A Stand" project held July 15-16 raised a total of $34,041.98.Lisa Kean, with the Phelps County Child Advocacy Network (PCCAN), said that 10 organizations had requested funds totaling about $33,000, so all of their requests can be granted.
