On Oct. 11, fourth and fifth grade Partridge Elementary students attended the Children’s Literature Festival of the Ozarks. Students traveled to the campus of Missouri State University and were able to listen to and interact with a variety of authors and illustrators. Among those seen were Roland Smith, Brade Sneed and Kate Klise. During the 50-minute sessions, students were able to gain insight into the world of book writing. They learned many new ways to organize their own writings and create stories that will keep their audience’s interest.
