The 2007 Toyota Rav4 Betty Niccum, 67, of Devils Elbow, was driving pulled into the path of the 1997 Nissan Maxima Michael Esparza, 31, of Devils Elbow, was driving on Highway Z at Tear Drop Lane in Pulaski County at 3:10 p.m. Sun., Nov. 4.

An accident involving three occupants leaves all with injuries. A driver and passenger have serious injuries while other driver has minor. The accident occurred on Highway Z in Pulaski County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, the 2007 Toyota Rav4 Betty Niccum, 67, of Devils Elbow, was driving pulled into the path of the 1997 Nissan Maxima Michael Esparza, 31, of Devils Elbow, was driving on Highway Z at Tear Drop Lane in Pulaski County at 3:10 p.m. Sun., Nov. 4. The Toyota came to rest on Highway Z upon impact. The Nissan traveled off the left side of the road and came to rest in the median.

The passenger of the Nissan, Julia Burns, 23, of Devils Elbow, and Niccum were left with serious injuries. Burns was transported to Phelps County Regional Medical Center by Pulaski County ambulance. Niccum was transported to the General Leonard Wood Army Community Hospital in Fort Leonard Wood. Esparza had minor injuries and sought own treatment.

Both vehicles were totaled.

The crash report indicated Burns and Esparza were not wearing seat belts, but Niccum was.
