Have you ever wanted to learn fly fishing? Project Healing Waters will offer free fly fishing instruction to injured active duty and disable veterans. “Fly fishing is an angling method in which an artificial "fly" is used to catch fish. The fly is cast using a fly rod, reel, and specialized weighted line.”

The goal at the end of all instructions is to be a self-sufficient angler. Project Healing Waters believes that fishing and experiencing nature provides healing powers to the soul. Classes will provide instruction and information on fly tying, fishing outings, rod building, and casting practice.

Classes will take place at Bellarmines Fellowship Hall located at 367 Old Route 66 in St. Robert. Classes are provided on Wednesday’s, October 31st, November 7th, November 14th, November 21st, November 28th, and December 5th. All classes will be from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
