The second warrant roundup in six weeks results in the arrest of 20 for drugs in Phelps County.
Early Thursday morning law enforcement officers from around the county assembled at the Phelps County Sheriff's Department for a briefing and assignment for a warrant roundup. This roundup was the result of several months of undercover operations in and around Phelps County by the South-Central Regional Drug Task Force.

Intelligence and other information provided by law enforcement, tip lines, and other sources allowed the Task Force to concentrate their efforts of specific investigations within the county.  These investigations resulted in the issuance of arrest warrants.

During this operation 20 suspects were located and arrested. Eight of those were previously incarcerated in jails and prisons throughout Missouri on other cases.
