The Rolla football team (5-2) traveled down to Lebanon for an Ozark Conference matchup. The Yellowjackets were able to bottle up the Rolla rushing attack, sending Rolla home with their first loss since week two 43-8.

The Bulldogs struggled to move the ball on the ground all night, but the Rolla defense was able to slow down Lebanon in the first quarter. Lebanon fumbled on their first offensive play and Bryce O'Connor was able to jump on top to give the Bulldogs possession. Lebanon broke through for the only touchdown of the opening quarter two drives later, as Ty Glendenning ran for a 20-yard score. That touchdown was the lone score of the quarter, but it opened the floodgates for the Lebanon offense.

The Yellowjackets went on to score on all three of their drives in the second quarter. Their first drive of the quarter ended with a one-yard score by Quameire Wright, before Glendenning hit Tanner Roy for a 26-yard score. Lebanon added one more score in the quarter, as Jayden Ivy took a pitch 11 yards for a touchdown. That score gave Lebanon a 28-0 lead at the half.

Lebanon then opened the third quarter with another touchdown from Glendenning, who connected with Connor Thom for a 38-yard score. Rolla was able to respond with their lone touchdown of the night on the ensuing drive, as Blaize Klossner ran in a four-yard score. Trey Quick then ran in a two-point conversion. Lebanon added one more score later in the quarter on a 26-yard run from Glendenning, putting the turbo clock into effect for good and giving Lebanon a 43-8 lead. Neither team scored in the fourth, as the clock ran out on the contest.

Klossner was the top offensive producer for Rolla in the loss. He caught 10 passes for 90 yards, while adding another 11 yards and a touchdown on the ground. For just the second time this season, Quick was held under 100 yards on the ground, as he carried the ball 16 times for 49 yards. Jack Hounsom was 11-16 for 100 yards. Elijah Young led the Rolla defense with 12 tackles in the loss.

The Bulldogs will look to bounce back when they return to their home turf on Friday for Homecoming against Camdenton.
