The St. James volleyball team traveled to Sullivan for a Four Rivers Conference matchup on Thursday, Oct. 4. The Lady Tigers had a tough night against their conference rival, losing in straight sets.

The Lady Tigers lost the first set 25-15, before falling 25-16 in the second set. The JV lost by scores of 25-15, 25-19. St. James struggled to find consistency in her hitting game with eight attacking errors against 11 kills. 

Mackenna Rodgers had a strong game for St. James with all 10 assists, while adding six digs, an ace and an assisted block. Makayla Case, Hannah Marcee and Shelby Marcee each had three kills on the night. Case also matched Rodgers for the team high in digs with six. Raina Forstrom chipped in with two more kills for the Lady Tigers. 

St. James will play in the St. Clair Tournament over the weekend, before a pair of home games at the beginning of next week. They'll host Belle on Monday, before hosting Union for their Paint it Pink night on Tuesday.
