The Rolla girls golf team traveled up to the Lake of the Ozarks for a quad against Camdenton, Helias and Waynesville on Tuesday, Sept. 11. The Lady Bulldogs had a strong showing, taking second place in the four school competition.

Rolla was led by Marliere Toothaker, who was one stroke of the medalist for the round by shooting an eight-over-par 44. She was followed closely behind by Hannah Hilker, who shot a +12 48. Emma Hobbs finished her round with a 52 and Audrey Collier was a stroke behind with a 52. Abby Hobbs rounded out the varsity with a 57. Those scores added up for a 195, putting Rolla in second place. Helias won the match with a team score of 183 and had the medalist for the round in Greta Hinds, who shot a 43. 

The Rolla JV also had a strong showing, shooting a 254 as a team. Jesse Coverdell led the charge with a 58. She was followed by Mikah Allison, who shot a 63. Lexi Luebbert and Rebekah Vail both finished their rounds with 66's, while Sara Coverdell rounded out the JV with a 69.

Rolla's next match will be their home opener when they host Waynesville for an Ozark Conference match on Thursday, Sept. 13.
