For the second time this summer, Ber Juan Park played host to a Missouri State Softball Tournament with the State's slow pitch tournament on Saturday, July 7.

The five team tournament saw Lugnuts, a team from Columbia, leave Rolla as champions.

Lugnuts made a quick run through the tournament with a perfect 3-0 record. They opened the tournament against Khaos, who was fresh off an 11-1 win over Waynesville's Not Forgotten. Lugnuts then doubled up Khaos 14-7. They then faced off against SOB Ladies, who had just finished beating Hafner Financial 17-7. This wouldn't be the only time these teams would face off on Saturday, but Lugnuts took the first matchup 8-2. SOB Ladies then beat Khaos 12-10 to earn a rematch against Lugnuts. The second matchup was closer, but Lugnuts finished the sweep with a 7-5 win.
