The Rolla soccer team continues to see players earn recognition this offseason, as two Lady Bulldogs were named to the Class 3 Region 3 team, which consisted of players from Districts 9-12.

A pair of Lady Bulldog defenders earned recognition, as senior Ryleigh Grommet and junior Carlee McCormack were recognized as some of the top players in the region. The two led a Rolla defense that allowed just 29 goals all season long.

While Grommet is a defender, she was also one of Rolla's top scorers as a penalty kick specialist. She scored 11 goals on the year, putting her in second place on the team in scoring. She added three assists.

McCormack was Grommet's partner in crime on the back line and the two formed a spectacular Rolla defense. McCormack played up occasionally for the Lady Bulldogs, scoring twice and adding an assist.
