The Ozark Conference announced their 2018 girls soccer All-Conference selections on Tuesday, June 5. Rolla had a slew of players recognized, including the conference's Co-Defensive Player of the Year and Keeper of the Year.

Seniors Kelly Cates and Ryleigh Grommet were some of the top players in the Ozark Conference this season and they were given their due recognition on the All-Conference selections. Cates was named Keeper of the Year after recording 12 shutouts with a goals against average of 1.2. Grommet was named Co-Defensive Player of the Year, but she took care of business on both the offensive and defensive sides of the ball. The senior was second on the team in scoring with 11 goals and three assists, while also leading a stellar Lady Bulldog defense. 

Also earning first team honors were Elsa Wise and Carlee McCormack. Wise led Rolla in scoring with 14 goals, while also dishing out a team-high nine assists. McCormack was another huge piece to the excellent Rolla defense, but also chipped in a pair of goals and an assist on the offensive end.

Rolla also had three players named to the All-Ozark Conference second team. Kendall Mara's feisty defense, as well as three goals and two assists earned her a spot on the second team. Ellie Rodgers facilitated the offense with excellent passing all season long from the midfield. She was second on the team with seven assists and added three goals of her own. Ariana Stanislawski rounded out the second team honors for the Lady Bulldogs. The senior midfielder/forward scored five goals on the season, while dishing out three assists. 

Rolla also hosted their banquet on Wednesday night, handing our their team honors. Grommet was named the team's MVP after a remarkable senior season. Wise, as the team's leading scorer, was named the Offensive Player of the Year. Stanislawski was recognized as the Midfield Player of the Year, while McCormack was named Defensive Player of the Year. Maddie Lucas was named the Most Improved, as she really earned key minutes as the season progressed. The Bulldog Award was given to Cates for her spectacular play all season long in goal.
