Arthur had a masterful performance on the mound, allowing just two hits in his five innings of worl. He walked one batter and struck out three on his way to the victory.
"Good win for us to start this tournament out with. We played well defensively behind a solid performance on the mound by Zeke," said head coach Marty Hauck. "We gave him the run support we needed to keep his pitch count down, which will help us tremendously through this seven game stretch in seven days. We stayed very disciplined at the plate and it showed.

If they win, they'll face the winner of Fatima and Hallsville for the championship on Friday, with a loss, they'll play the loser in the third place game on Friday. The Bulldogs will also hopefully play their game against Kickapoo, which has been rescheduled multiple times due to field concerns, on Wednesday, before a regularly scheduled matchup with Parkview on Thursday.
