Rolla, Mo. – A five-hit shutout pitching performance by sophomore Avery English (Carterville, Ill./Carterville) in the opening game of Sunday's (March 18) matchup against the Lewis Flyers was impressive, but so too was the outcome in the second game as the Missouri S&T softball team rallied from a 3-1 deficit with a three-run sixth inning highlighted by sophomore designated player Olivia Young (Milstadt, Ill./Belleville Township)'s eventual game-winning two-run home run to post a come-from-behind 4-3 win and complete a Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) doubleheader sweep at the S&T Softball Field.
