This year for the week of January 7-13 there were 40,600 cases. Influenza A is by far dominant. It is important for individuals to stay home if they are not feeling well, and it is not too late to receive your flu vaccination. The Phelps/Maries County Health Department currently has vaccines available for the insured, non-insured, Medicaid children and adults.
