Kick of Small Business Saturday with the Rolla Daily News special publication, Holiday Happenings, featuring a gift guide to spark the inspiration for your next shopping trip around town. You can also find all the places Santa will be visiting, so you can plan to get some photos with the kid, as well as all the festive musical performances and other plays being planned. Nov. 27 “All is Calm,” at Leach Theatre

Missouri University of Science and Technology will welcome Theatre Latté Da’s production of “All is Calm: The Christmas Truce of 1914” this month as a part of the 2017-18 Campus Performing Arts Series.

The performance will be held at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 27, in Leach Theatre of Castleman Hall located at 10th and Main streets in Rolla.

Tickets are $40 for adults and $35 for youth and Missouri S&T students with valid ID. Tickets cans be purchased through the Leach Theatre Box Office located in the vestibule inside the main entrance of Castleman Hall facing 10th Street.


Dec. 1  - First Night on Pine Street

1- First Night on Pine Street will be hosting in partnership with the Rolla Downtown Business Association. Activities include musicians, storytellers, dancers and actors performing in different businesses. Fire pits and s’more stations along with hot chocolate and spiced cider will be available.

At 7:30, the community Christmas tree will be lit. There will be activities for adults in the Christkindl Markt Tent.
