Rolla, Mo. – Missouri S&T men's golf coach Chad Green announced two signees to his 2018 recruiting class on Monday. Joining the men's golf program are Colin Stolze and Cole Wilson.

 "We are excited about this class," Green said. "We are adding two talented golfers that are also academically driven. They are both great fits for our program, Missouri S&T and will have an immediate impact on the team. I can't wait to begin coaching them."

Colin Stolze, St. Louis, Mo., is currently the second highest ranked Missourian in the Rolex American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) Rankings & the highest ranked Missourian for the class of 2018. Stolze had seven top 10 finishes this past year on the Gateway PGA Juniors Tour. He won the Tour Tune-Up at Arlington Greens Golf Course, the Tour Tune-Up at Crescent Farms and a two day event at Greenbriar Hills Country Club. He finished in a tie for second at The Legends and tied for fourth at the Gateway Junior PGA Championship. He finished tied for second at the AJGA Jr. at The Legends. In 2017 Stolze qualified for the 42nd Junior PGA Championship & the Big I Championship. In 2016 he qualified for the IMG Jr. World Championship. Stolze helped lead Chaminade to a third place finish at the 2017 Missouri Class 4 Golf Championships.

 "We are thrilled to have Colin join the Miner Golf family," Green said. "His game has come a long way in the past couple of years. He has seen a lot of success at both the local and national tournaments. We are excited to see what Colin can do in a Miner uniform."

Cole Wilson, Kelowna, British Columbia, ended the 2017 golf season with a 74.28 tournament scoring average. He had seven top 20 finishes on the Canadian Junior Golf Association circuit. He finished 9th at the CJGA Jr. at Padoga Ridge 10th at Cordova Bay 16th at the Arizona Silver Belle Championship and tied for 16th at the CJGA Humber College PGM Western Championship. He finished 17th at the CJGA David Hearn Junior Series and 19th at the CJGA World Junior Challenge. He won the CJGA Riverway championship. Cole also competed on the British Columbia Golf Association where he had three top 10 finishes. He finished 10th at the Juvenile Boys Championship, 3rd at the Zone 2 Men's Championship, and won the zone 2 Junior Tour at Osoyoos Golf Club. Wilson had three top six finishes on the Maple Leaf Junior Tour. Finishing sixth at the MJT National Championship, second at the Ford Fall Series, and won the MJT Whistler Championship.  Wilson finished 57th at the Canadian Junior National Championship and 19th at the Royal Oaks Men's Invitational. He will also be representing team Canada at the Aaron Baddeley International Team Championship in December in San Diego, Calif.

 "We are very excited about Cole & his future as a Miner," Green said. "He has competed at a high level in both Canada and the United States. Cole is a hard worker on the golf course, in the classroom and in the weight room. We are anxious to see what he can accomplish."
