Rolla soccer's senior captains Nick Janke and Drew Blair both continued to add to their list of honors with by earning places on the All-State teams.
Janke, who was named the state's Defensive Player of the Year last season, earned a first team spot for the second straight year as he makes a push for a spot on the All-American team. Janke scored 11 goals and had six assists as a defenseman this season, setting a new career high.
Blair earned second team All-State honors for the second consecutive season after earning Co-Keeper of the Year honors in the Ozark Conference and the Class 3 Southwest/Central Region. Blair set a new school record for career shutouts by bringing his total to 38. He recorded 13 shutouts this season and allowed just 21 goals during the 27 game season.
Rockwood Summit's Billy Hency won Player of the Year honors, while the Offensive and Defensive Player of the Year honors were both shared. Joey Spotanski from Fort Zumwalt South and Adam Burnett from Parkway Central shared the offensive honors, while Central's Cameron Baird and Glendale's Mitch Stephens shared the defensive award. Sam Gomez from Webster Groves was the Keeper of the Year, while Parkway Central's Brian Adam won Coach of the Year.
Rolla ended the season in 10th place in the final team rankings.
