On Thursday, October 19, the Warm-Up America (WUA) program donated afghans to the Missouri Veterans’ Home in St. James. Volunteers knitted and crocheted enough 7-inch by 9-inch blocks to make 9 full-size and 9 lap-size blankets for veterans. 2017 marks the 20th anniversary of the Warm-Up America program in Phelps County.
