The St. James cross country team ran in the Four Rivers Conference meet on Tuesday, Oct. 17. The St. James boys finished in sixth as a team thanks to a top 10 finish by Mason Parker.
Parker continued his strong sophomore season with a great performance at the FRC meet. After missing some time with some health issues, Parker was in full force with a seventh place finish and a time of 18:23. The next boy to finish for St. James was Austin Ridenhour, who took 33rd with a time of 20:20. Andrew Branson finished in 37th with a time of 20:33, Zachary Deareuff finished in 42nd with a time of 42nd, Kadin Guese took 45th with a time of 21:41, Ethan Barnett finished in 48th with a time of 22:13 and Garret Rankin rounded out the varsity with a time of 22:48 to finish in 56th.
The boys JV had a 34th place finish from Drew Nappier, who finished in 25:43, Christian Haris finished in 36h with a time of 27:09. Logen Holt placed 38th with a time of 27:40 and Levi Brown placed 40th with a time of 28:10.
For the girls, Heather Pankey had another great finish by finishing in 15th place with a time of 22:50, while Alexis Tune placed 44th with a time of 30:20.
