For the first time in five seasons, Missouri S&T's men's cross country team finds itself ranked among the top 10 teams in the NCAA Division II Midwest Region in the new rankings released by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.

The Miners, who finished third among the Division II teams at the Greater Louisville Classic Saturday, moved into the top 10 as a result of that performance.  It is the first time since Oct. 9, 2012 that a Miner team is among the top 10 teams in the region during the course of the season.

Missouri S&T will compete Saturday at the Gary Stoner Invitational at Central Methodist University in Fayette, Mo.
