The St. James volleyball team (3-11, 0-3 FRC) kicked off this week with a pair of games. The Lady Tigers traveled to Steelville for a rescheduled game on Monday, Sept. 25 before playing at Owensville on Tuesday, Sept. 26. St. James lost both of those matches in straight sets.

The match against Steelville on Monday was rescheduled from Monday, Aug. 21, because Steelville cancelled school that day for the eclipse. The JV opened the night of volleyball, with St. James falling in straight sets. The varsity matchup was controlled by Steelville. The Lady Tigers fell in the first set 25-15, before losing in the second set 25-17.

Tuesday's matchup with Owensville mirrored the loss to Steelville. The JV lost in straight sets 25-15, 25-17, before the varsity lost in straight sets by the same score to their Four Rivers Conference rival.

The Lady Tigers will be back in action on Thursday, Sept. 28 when they host Sullivan for another Four Rivers Conference matchup.
