According to the report, the collision occurred as both vehicles were eastbound on Country Road 338. A pickup was stopped at a stop sign at the road's intersection with U.S. 69. The car struck the pickup in the rear. Information about any occupants of the pickup is unknown as it left the scene.

A Newburg woman suffered serious injuries in a crash near Cameron, Mo. Friday afternoon.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, Britney M. Spark, 27, was a passenger in a car that rear-ended a pickup truck at an intersection in Clinton County, 1.5 miles south of Cameron, shortly before 2:30 p.m. Sept. 15. She was taken by ambulance to Cameron Regional Medical Center for treatment.

Daneal W. Spark, 32, of Newburg, Mo. was the driver of the 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse that Britney Spark was a passenger in. He received minor injuries and was taken by ambulance to Cameron Regional Medical Center.

A second passenger in the car also received injuries described as serious in the crash report. Lorretta T. Werdehausen, 42, of Eldon was taken by ambulance to Cameron Regional Medical Center as well.

The crash report indicated none of the occupants of the car were wearing a seatbelt. The Mitsubishi was totaled.
