The Rolla girls golf team has a busy week this week and they got started with a pair of events on Monday, Sept. 11 and Tuesday, Sept. 12. First they played in the Sedalia Classic on Monday, a 17 team tournament, before playing at Helias for a dual on Tuesday. Rolla saw a personal low for Audrey Collier on Monday before a team score low on Tuesday.

The Sedalia Classic was jam packed with great golf from 17 different schools. Audrey Collier shot her season low for 18 holes with a 91. Marliere Toothaker wasn't far behind by shooting a 98. Jesse Coverdell shot a 115, while Audrey Roberts shot a 146. Those scores combined for a 450, which put the Lady Bulldogs in 15th.

Notre Dame DeSion won the event by shooting a 309 as a team. They also had the medalist for the tournament, Megan Propeck. Propeck posted a dominant performance by shooting a four-under-par 66. Rock Bridge came in second in the tournament with a 325, while Helias placed third with a 327.

Rolla followed the Sedalia Classic by playing against Helias for the second day in a row. Rolla had their lowest nine-hole score of the season by shooting a 208, but it wasn't quite enough to beat Helias. Collier led the team again by shooting a 43 with Toothaker right behind her with a 45. Coverdell shot a 55, while Roberts shot a 65.

Helias' Alex Nelson was the medalist for the even with a four-over-par 38. Helias won the dual with a team score of 164.

Rolla had a deserved day off on Wednesday, before playing in the MSU Relays in Springfield on Thursday, Sept. 14.
