The Rolla girls golf team traveled to Waynesville for a quad-match against Waynesville, Crocker and Dixon on Thursday, Sept. 7. The Lady Bulldogs won their first match of the season by taking first place by seven strokes.

Rolla had a team score of 220 to win the quad because three of their four players had their best nine-hole scores of the season. Audrey Collier led the team with a 44, but Marliere Toothaker was just a stroke behind with a 45 on the par-36 course. Jesse Coverdell shot a 62, while Audrey Roberts rounded out the squad with a 70. 

Crocker placed second in the quad with a score of 227, Waynesville placed third with a 238 and Dixon shot a 254. Victoria Hooker was the medalist in the quad by shooting a 41 with an eagle and a birdie on two of her last four holes.

The Lady Bulldogs have the weekend off, but they'll have a busy beginning of the week next week. Rolla will play in the Sedalia Classic on Monday, Sept. 11 before playing against Helias on Tuesday, Sept. 12.
