Yesterday, this hard-working City of Rolla Public Works traffic crew was busy painting street surfaces that have been micro-paved. White traffic paint is used with a sprinkling of glass beads to give the surface a reflective property for night drivers. RDN was told the paint takes 15 to 20 minutes to dry, so they were leery of rogue cars, bicyclists and cell phone-distracted pedestrians. From left is Tom Monson, Loren Wood and Brent Turner.
