The Bantom youth baseball league was back in action on Thursday, June 29. All three games were pretty one-sided in an offense-heavy night of baseball.

The night started with the best offensive show of the evening in a matchup between Procare Pool and J&S Small Engine. Procare Pool started the game with a five-run first inning and never let up in a dominant 14-3 win. Jack Greenway, Isaiah Hockersmith and Sawyer Black each scored twice and 11 of their 12 batters crossed home plate in an impressive offensive showing.

Optimist Club and My Glass Guy faced off in the second game of the night with the bats coming alive for Optimist Club. They scored five runs in the first and two runs in the second to control the game. My Glass Guy tried to stay in the ballgame with two in the first and three in the second, but it wasn't enough to keep up in a 9-5 loss. Optimist Club had three players score twice in the win, as John Papadalsos, Nicholas Peterson and Trenton Young all made their way around the bases multiple times.

Mid America Bank ended the night by mashing in seven runs in a win over Daniel Construction. They scored twice in the first, four runs in the second and a final run in the third to run away with the win. Daniel Construction only managed to score twice in the loss.
