The question
What kinds of activities are going on in the area for Independence Day and where can I see fireworks?

The Answer
Pulaski County and the counties surrounding it are full of plenty of fun things to do and places to celebrate America’s Independence. There are carnivals, festivals, and fireworks displays in towns all over the area this time of year.
We gathered up all the information we could find about the events nearest to our area and compiled them here.

Pulaski County:

Featured this year at the celebration will be country music star Kelleigh Bannen and local performer ChristiAna. Additionally, there will be food, games, and other entertainment at Gammon Field, where the celebration takes place.
The festivities kick 0ff at 3 p.m. on July 4, it’s free and open to the public, visitors are encouraged to bring chairs and blankets due to the festival seating atmosphere. Organizers are also warning attendees to bring cash to buy items because many of the vendors will not be able to accept credit or debit cards. Personal fireworks are prohibited on Fort Leonard Wood.
