According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, Bramham was driving a 2014 Chevrolet Malibu west in the westbound lanes and struck a westbound 2015 International Tractor in the rear. The car then went off the left side of the roadway and struck a median cable.

A Rolla man was seriously injured in a crash with a semi early Thursday morning on I-44.

Samuel M. Bramham, 39, was taken by ambulance to Phelps County Regional Medical Center for treatment following the accident which occurred around 5:40 a.m. Jan. 5 about two miles east of St. Robert.

The driver of the truck - Anthony W. Wells, 29, of Springfield, Mo. - was uninjured.

According to the report, both men were wearing seatbelts.
