We’ve seen it all before. A series of stories (it’s never just one) attempts to build a narrative of fabricated lies and media leaks are dripped to the public to hide incompetence, dishonesty and illegal activity. The Russians didn't "hack an election"—the DNC did.
We’ve seen it all before. A series of stories (it’s never just one) attempts to build a narrative of fabricated lies and media leaks are dripped to the public to hide incompetence, dishonesty and illegal activity. Benghazi and its video false narrative comes to mind. U.S. Army Pvt. Bowe Bergdahl’s shameful coverup and subsequent terrorist exchange is another. There are more, but now, the narrative is all about the Russians. Deniers and their race baiting reasons aside, Obama and his administration created it all. It’s time he admitted it, but he won’t—he’s desperate to live up to his media hype. It’s just that his record won’t let him, so he has resorted to low hanging fruit such as designating state-owned lands as federal national parks, in the footsteps of Teddy Roosevelt. The difference was Roosevelt shot mule deer on hunting expeditions in America’s wilderness and Obama plays golf on landscaped fairways. The authenticity doesn’t leave much to the imagination.
Half of the country knows better than to fall for these fabrications—actually more than half if the blue and yellow dog Democrats were honest with themselves.
So now we have the Russians, whose entry into the main stream media started with “election hacking.” If it is true (once bitten, twice shy with the fake news generated by this administration), Americans of red and blue persuasions should be cheering the move in the name of transparency. If I were Obama, Hillary or any Democrat I guess I’d be mad too and extremely embarrassed—it exposed how Hillary and the Democratic National Committee rigged the election for her highness, showed the depths of collusion between the national media and the DNC, exposed Hillary’s illegal server scandal and coverup and her ineptness in handling our country’s national security. Three cheers for the hackers that exposed what our own NSA refused to expose. Three cheers for the hackers that exposed what our own FBI refused to expose. Three cheers for the hackers that exposed what our own president refused to expose. Nixon should have gotten a hall pass to the principal’s office by comparison.
The truly unbelievable response from the liberals is they are blind to their own candidate’s and party’s misdeeds. It’s not the hacked that is to blame, it’s the hackers. It must be that Red shirtless, eyes of blue steel boogyman, Vladimir!
Putin makes such a great boogyman. Heck, he’s a natural in a sort of unnatural Robocop way. Remember when Obama stated (under a hot microphone) whispering (paraphrased) in a weak pre-second term pander to Putin “just wait until I get back in the White House”—his desperate show of emotion to work with Putin as opposed to Mitt’s hard-line Russian stance. Well, he waited and like the cat playing the mouse, Putin seized both Crimea and leadership in the Gulf due to Obama administration blunders. But it is Obama who lit the fuse to the chaos in that part of the world, literally destroying Europe in it’s wake, while he smiles and renames Mt. McKinley in Alaska, to Mt. Denali in the name of political correctness.
Today’s headlines: CNN, “Russia will wait for Trump” and “Putin won’t expel 35 US envoys over hacking sanctions”, MSNBC had more than three headlines (they need the ratings) such as, “Analyst: Stunning for Trump to wait for intel [on the Russians]” and “Congressional Challenge: How to quell Russian hacking?” and “Obama: Russia’s actions should be alarming” (no, YOUR actions should be alarming); the New York Times, “U.S.—Russia tensions flare,” and “Echoes of the Cold War”; the Washington Post, “Russia plans retaliation and ‘serious discomfort’ over U.S. hacking sanctions. And for Daily Mail fun, “KGB country clubs: Inside the luxury U.S. compounds where Russian spies have lived freely for DECADES” and “Obama’s ‘cold war’ directive shuts two bases.”
I don’t deny the Russians are hacking anymore than our own devious NSA. The fact that it is being used for an excuse for a sour grapes election result and to bolster a president’s lame legacy to show he’s a tough guy is just silly. But that’s the surreal world created by Washington’s elites from John McCain to Obama to the New York Times. Trump isn’t looking at Obama’s misdirection. He is looking at Putin, but for reasons totally different from Obama. Only a fool panders to the boogyman, as Obama has discovered. Yet, does it matter in the long run, if the objective is to create global chaos and weakening the U.S. in the process to appeal to power mongers that set you up as “The Great Uniter”? Probably not.
To use his own term when referring to pre-elected Trump, the real “dangerous” threat to America’s democracy and global peace is thankfully leaving the White House and not soon enough. His cohort is hiding out among the dog trails in Chappaqua in her own dacha, no doubt plotting the next family foundation outing. But Putin is emboldened by this administration’s weaknesses and the media games need to stop. Trump should immediately throw a wrench into the Russian-Iranian plan to totally control the energy resources of our allies in western Europe. He needs to show our NATO countries in Eastern Europe that a red line truly exists and that honor still prevails in our country. Our trust collateral in the world is damaged badly but not broken. So much for smiley faces and false doctrine—we need a leader now, more than ever. Tweet-on president-elect.
