Waynesville, Mo. -

The Old Stagecoach Stop will be hosting its 4th Annual Appreciation Day Saturday, September 26th from 11 am – 3 pm.

The event will feature live bluegrass, gospel, and country music performed by the River Berry Players, a Civil War reenactor discussing the life of a Union soldier, crafts demonstrations including basket making, wood carving, and quilting by members of the Gone to Pieces Quilt Guild.  Children’s activities will include making butter, making cloth dolls, and 19th century games like graces, jacks, and marbles.

Refreshments will be served, many based on 19th and early 20th century recipes.  The museum will be open for tours throughout the day.  The event is free of charge and will be held rain or shine.  The Old Stagecoach Stop is located at 106 Lynn Street on the square in downtown Waynesville.  Bring the whole family and enjoy an old fashioned good time!
