The Missouri Department of Transportation will perform milling on Route BB, Phelps County, from Route 8 to County Road 3040 beginning Monday, April. 20.  Weather permitting, crews and equipment will be on the roadway between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m.

MoDOT will also perform milling on Route 68, Phelps County, from County Road 3560 to County Road 4380 beginning Monday, April. 20. Weather permitting, crews and equipment will be on the roadway between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Milling removes excess material from cracks and joints, decreasing the likelihood of pavement deterioration. While performing this function, crews and equipment are located directly on the roadway. Motorists are urged to exercise caution when moving through the work zone.

MoDOT will install guardcable on Interstate 44, Crawford and Phelps Counties, Eastbound Interstate 44 at the Route U overhead for 2 miles, from mile marker 200.2 to mile marker 202.2 beginning Monday, April 20.  Weather permitting, crews and equipment will be on the roadway between 7:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.

Workers will install guardcable in the roadway median. Guardcable is proven to significantly decrease crossover accidents.
