Several policy revisions will be considered by the Rolla Board of Education Thursday night.
Meeting at the D. Kent King Administration Building, the board will conduct a 5 p.m. closed session followed by a 5:30 p.m. open session.
Policies to be considered are:
• Professional Staff Long-Term Leaves and Absences,
• Staff/Student Relations,
• Parent/Family Involvement in Instructional and Other Programs,
• Instructional Materials.
In a separate policy discussion, the board will consider the District Wellness Program presented by Assistant Superintendent Kelly Hinshaw.
Also on the agenda will be a report on the plans for the 2012 Summer School presented by Assistant Superintendent Craig Hounsom.
The board will also act on tuition rates for 2012-13, the substitute teacher list and support staff changes.
Attendance report will be presented.
