The Rolla Police Department and Special Olympics - Missouri are teaming up again to host the 9th Annual Law Enforcement Torch Run “Trivia Night” on Friday, Oct. 23 at 6 p.m. at the Rolla Elk’s Lodge. This event has been declared the best trivia night in the area and offers space for up to 33 teams!
  

The teams may consist of up to 10 players who will try to answer 10 trivia questions in 10 different categories. The winning team will secure free berth to next year’s event and be awarded the coveted traveling trophy emblazed with the team name for the year. In addition, and perhaps the most rewarding, is of course, bragging rights for the rest of the year.
  

Each year we feature a guest “emcee” to add to the fun and for 2009 Rolla Mayor William “Trivia Bill” Jenks has accepted our offer and will be our official emcee. Food will be provided and the Rolla Elk’s Lodge will host a cash bar. This is a night of fun and all proceeds benefit our local Special Olympic athletes. The cost to enter a team is $100.
  

We encourage individuals, businesses, health and fitness clubs, law enforcement agencies, fire and rescue agencies and everyone else to consider putting a team together for this great cause. This event is a Law Enforcement Torch Run event and all proceeds will benefit Special Olympics – Missouri. The Rolla Police Department hosts several Torch Run events throughout the year to include T-shirt sales, Torch Run Trivia Night, and the Law Enforcement Torch Run.  Please help us help the athletes!
