The Missouri University of Science and Technology Jazz Band and Jazz Combo will perform at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 20, in Leach Theater of Castleman Hall, 10th and Main streets in Rolla. The concert will feature the music of Pat Metheny, Ella Fitzgerald, Natalie Cole, Michael Buble, Horace Silver, Julian “Cannonball” Adderley and Buddy Rich.
Tickets are $5 for the general public and free for Missouri S&T students and youth age 18 and younger. Tickets are available between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and one hour before the performance in the Leach Theatre Box Office, located in the lobby of Castleman Hall.
The concert will also feature the vocal stylings of Debbie Priesmeyer. Priesmeyer is a founding member of the Rolla-based a cappella vocal jazz group “Oak Savannah,” as well as a soprano with the Rolla Community Choir.
