The RHS fall production, “It’s A Twain Thing!” is a series of short scenes and monologues based on the works of Mark Twain.
One scene is “The Diary of Adam and Eve” adapted by Mark Bucci, starring Greg Wilkins as Adam, Chloe Dunaway as Eve, and Stephanie Hausner as The Snake.
The other scenes and monologues are taken from Dennis Snee’s adaptation of “Twain by the Tale.” Scenes include “Noah and the Bureaucracy” (Stevie Tupper and Jacob Deen); “Advice to Little Girls” (Trisha Smith); a “Great French Duel” between Gambetta and Fourtou (Conor O’Day and Logan Pickens); “The Legend of Sagenfeld,” a fairy tale story (narrated by Katie Williams) about young King Hubert and his advisors (Max Pfeifer); letters to and postcards from Mark Twain (Kati Edwards); and many, many more.
The show is directed by Wendy King and Stage Managed by Sarah Cooksey.
“It’s A Twain Thing!” runs Thursday, Nov. 17 through Saturday, Nov. 19 at 7 p.m. in the Rolla Middle School Auditorium. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the door or in the RHS attendance office the week of the show.
