The United Way of South Central Missouri, which will kick off the 2014-2015 United Way campaign next month, hopes to raise $125,000 this year.

The United Way of South Central Missouri, which will kick off the 2014-2015 United Way campaign next month, hopes to raise $125,000 this year.
That is the goal set for the campaign, which runs from Sept. 12 to Nov. 7
A kick-off for the campaign will take place Friday, Sept. 12, at 8 a.m. at the Rolla Visitor Center located at 1311 Kingshighway.
Local non-profit agencies that benefit from United Way donations include the following:
Salvation Army-Phelps County,
Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA)
2CM Campus & Community Ministry,
ABLE Commission,
Red Cross Heart of Missouri,
Boy Scouts of America-Ozark Trails Council,
Girl Scouts of the Missouri Heartland,
G.R.A.C.E.,
Habitat for Humanity,
Healthy Kids,
Phelps County 4-H Council,
Prevention Consultants of Missouri,
Rolla Nutrition Site, Senior Companions,
Special Olympics Missouri, and
St. James Golden Age Center.
