A Rolla man was arrested last week in connection with methamphetamine, oxycodone and drug paraphernalia found at a Rolla area residence.
Scotty Dean Gately, 38, has been charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance, a Class C felony, and one count of tampering with evidence, a Class D felony.
According to a news release from the Phelps County Sheriff’s Department, officers with several local law enforcement agencies served a search warrant Aug. 8 in the 10000 block of Highway E near Rolla.
As a result of the search warrant, officers seized methamphetamine, oxycodone and drug paraphernalia.
Gately was placed in the Phelps County Jail on a $100,000 bond.
The search warrant was issued after a short-term narcotics investigation by the sheriff’s department, the South Central Drug Task Force and the Rolla Police Department.
