Mercy co-worker campaigns benefit students on Aug. 6
Good grades are easier to achieve if you feel well and have the tools you need. Children in Phelps County will be ready, thanks to this year’s Back to School Fair.
Mercy Clinic Family Medicine—Rolla is once again sponsoring the event 1 - 6 p.m Aug. 6 at the Lion’s Den, located at 1061 S. Bishop Ave. About 750 local children will be provided school supply bags, which have been funded by two annual co-worker campaigns: Mercy Way and Force for Good.
“It’s amazing to be part of such a community-wide event that provides such needed supplies to the children of our community,” said Kristina Lewis, RN, practice manager at Mercy Clinic Family Medicine – Rolla. “We look forward to this event every year.”
The event is intended for low-income or at-risk families; it will also include health checks like height, weight and blood pressure, dental and vision screenings, and haircuts. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian; please bring immunization records for review.
