Women's-only event set for 6:30 p.m. Aug. 8 at Miner Dome.
The Missouri S&T football team will hold its first annual Women’s Football Clinic on Aug. 8.
The Miner coaching staff is putting on the women’s-only clinic. It will cover general football topics, so that women not familiar with the game will have a better understanding of definitions and rules pertaining to football.
The clinic will cover the positions on the field and what they do, the rules of the game, offensive and defensive formations and general terminology.
The staff will go through position drills and other fun events. The clinic will finish with a social gathering at the Public House Brewing Co. for trivia and prizes.
Check-in will be 6:30 p.m. at the Miner Dome on Friday, Aug. 8. Fee is $25 per person, which includes a T-shirt. The social at Public House Brewing Co. is set for 8:30 p.m.
