  • Wyatt Sowers clubbed a homer, two singles and scored twice, lifting Central Security to a 10-8 victory over Rolla Optimist Club Tuesday in Rolla Youth Baseball/Softball (RYBS) Midget I Division baseball action at Green Acres Park.
    Layne Kirkpatrick doubled and scored twice for the winners while Connor Crawford had two singles and scored a run and Jack Porter scored twice. Ian McBride had a double, single and scored two runs while Riley Stevenson had a double and single and Kyler Hale scored two runs for Rolla Optimist Club.
    In the other Midget I game on Tuesday:
    Rolla Lions Club 8, Furniture Express 7: Gaven Hansen scored what proved to be the winning run in the fourth inning as Rolla Lions Club won. Logan Oden tripled and scored for the winners while Daniel Reed and Hansen each scored two runs and Noah Maddox had a double and single. Mason Shuler, Austin Miller and Zach Carnelison each scored two runs and Heston Parsons doubled and scored for Furniture Express.
    Atom Division
    Adam Alderfer belted a homer, three singles and scored three runs while Nate Robinson had a triple, three singles and scored twice, Owen Sanchez had three hits and scored three runs, Phenix Thom had three hits and scored twice and Brady Feeler had two hits and scored three runs as RYBS Navy topped Mike’s Car Care 14-6 Monday in Atom Division baseball play at Rolla Lions Club Park.
    Devin Salter had two hits and scored two runs while Dylan Fry and Kayden Harrington each had two hits and scored a run for Mike’s Car Care.
    In other Atom Division games from Monday:
    Mid-America Bank & Trust 8, Rolla Lions Club 7: Seth Romine’s hit drove in Ben Choi with the winning run in the sixth inning as Mid-America Bank won. Ray Wassilak and Kaden Reedy each scored twice for the winners. Wyatt Waneke scored three runs and Demarii Williams, Tyler Clayton and Sawyer Black each scored a run for Rolla Lions Club.
    Outdoors & More 8, RYBS Ash Grey 7: Chancen Jordan scored the winning run in the fifth inning on a single by Cameron Erickson as Outdoors and More won. Jordan had a double, single and scored three runs for the winners while Erickson had a triple, single and scored twice and Kaleb Hart doubled and scored. Kayden Kinder had a pair of homers while John DeNoon had a triple, single and scored twice and Dayton Dukes had two hits and scored a run for RYBS Ash Grey.
    Suncliff Greenhouse 20, Scott’s Plumbing 9: Cooper Gideon scored four times while Zack Davis scored three runs and Ethan Brown, Owen Kuchar, Landon Hodakowski, Ben Gray and Trent Mackey each scored twice as Suncliff Greenhouse won. Nick Housewright scored three runs and Kaleb Dobchski, Gabe Ingram and Owen Harrison each scored twice for Scott’s Plumbing.
    Page 2 of 2 - Pete’s Pumpkin Patch 17, Key Sport Shop 11: Canyon Snelson had two homers while Payton Wilkins had a homer, single and scored three runs; Jack Mrozowicz had a homer, double and single; Tyler Morgan had a homer and two singles, and Joey Foster had three hits and scored three runs as Pete’s Pumpkin Patch won. Connor Black had a double and three singles, and Brendon Berry and Jaeden Lukefahr each had three hits for Key Sport Shop.
