  • Rolla Men's Softball League ends first-half schedule

  • Hancock Foundations, C&M Deli & Pub and Breen Masonry captured the first-half championships of their respective divisions in the Missouri Men’s Softball League, which ended the first half with games on Tuesday at Ber Juan Park.
    Hancock Foundations won the first-half Upper Division title with a 6-1 record while C&M Deli & Pub was the Middle Division champion at 6-1 and Breen Masonry won the Lower Division crown with a 7-1 mark. Mercy Rehab was 6-1 in the Lower Division but lost a head-to-head tiebreaker with Breen Masonry for the division title.
    The second half schedule is to begin next Tuesday.
    Here are this week’s games that wrapped up the men’s first half:
    Middle Division
    Xtreme Life-Rolla 22, Hi-Tech Collision 9: Mark Miller, Chris Cremer and Charlie Patterson each had three hits and scored three runs and Scott Kaden had three doubles as Xtreme Life-Rolla won. Aaron Lenox had a homer, double, single and scored three runs while Brian Estes had two hits and scored twice for Hi-Tech Collision.
    C&M Deli & Pub 14, Xtreme Life-Rolla 11: Bryan Furse clubbed three home runs while Don Howdeshell, Toby Lewis and Duane Spurgin each had two hits and scored twice as C&M Deli & Pub won. Trevor White had a homer and single and Jerrod Grayson, Zac Maedgen, Miller and Cremer each had three hits for Xtreme Life-Rolla.
    Newkirk Auction Service 18, Hi-Tech Collision 8: Doy Graham had a homer, double, two singles and scored four runs while Brian Carroll had three hits and scored three runs and Bryant Craft had four hits and scored twice as Newkirk Auction won. Lenox had two hits and scored twice and Eddie Skaggs had three hits for Ti-Tech Collision.
    C&M Deli & Pub 17, Newkirk Auction Service 14: Spurgin had four hits and scored four runs while Mike Clardy homered and had two singles and Ben Menary had a double, single and scored twice as C&M Deli & Pub won. Graham had a homer, double and two singles while Calvin Corley had a homer, three singles, and Brett Gibson had a homer and single for Newkirk Auction Service.
    Miller 64 18, Hartley’s Climate Control 4: Matt Nikel and James Munoz had four hits and scored three runs while Jim Korich and Jim Virant each had four hits as Miller 64 won. Aaron Gideon had two hits and scored twice and Darrin Wood homered for Hartley’s Climate Control
    Larson Construction 21, Hartley’s Climate Control 3: Glen Sapaugh had four hits and scored three runs while Mike Sloan had a homer, double and two singles and Christian Santos had three hits and scored three times as Larson Construction won. Wood had a homer and Aaron Hartley had two hits and scored a run for Hartley’s Climate Control.
    Page 2 of 2 - McDonald’s 15, Miller 64: Ryan Goodridge had a double, single and scored four times while Andrew Lott had three hits and scored three runs and Darrin Wood and Phillip Lott each had three hits and scored twice as McDonald’s won. Nikel had three hits and Frank Virant had three hits for Miller 64.
    McDonald’s 13, Larson Construction 3: Andrew Lott had a triple, two singles and scored three runs while Dakota Chapman had a homer and single and Nick Olivas had a double, single and scored twice as McDonald’s won. Sloan, Jim Larson and Cody McCullin each had a hit and scored a run for Larson Construction.
