  • Dave Weinbaum: Jews seek reperations from being enslaved in Africa

I’m sure lots of people can identify with enslaved ancestors. Today slavery still exists in Africa, Asia and the Mideast. Much of it is religious--much of it black on black. Black Muslims seem to see nothing wrong with kidnapping black Christian girls and selling them off to their brethren as wives or sex slaves.
In the USA blacks were subjugated to slavery by whites with the cooperation of a multiracial delivery system originating in Africa. Minister Louis Farrakhan, who heads the Nation of Islam claims the USA owes reparations for the 400 years Africans were owned, worked, raped and punished—and then discriminated against—even today—with a black president.
Also, Farrakhan falsely blames the Jews for the people of color’s plight in America. In 2010, Farrakhan wrote a letter demanding reparations from 16 Jewish organizations, citing books about Jewish responsibility for the slavery of blacks.
These tomes were on the level of the phony, anti-Semitic publication of The Protocols of the Elders of Zion. It purported to prove Jews have a secret oath to dominate the world. Published in 1903 in Russia, it was about the time my ancestors fled to the USA. Piles of Jewish bodies were lining up on the streets of Odessa all too frequently.
If you want to be number one, stop insisting on being full of number two
What, on top of the 600,000 American deaths of those who fought in the Civil war, could blacks rightfully expect? Which sum would drag black culture out of victim status after 151 years of freedom? How many more $trillions of tax-payer money should be taken so that black leaders could stand before their constituents and tell them, “Here’s what we got. It’s a good sum. Now go forth and live the American Dream.”
I submit evidence exists that there is no sum the black community would settle upon as a final deal. The demands of the black community to remain on victim status will only allow for the leaders who coddle this view. Blacks who disagree are called Uncle Toms or worse.  This is how black leaders keep their cash flowing. It’s certainly how Barack Obama garnered an astonishing 93% of the black vote in his successful reelection bid.
Sometimes you have to stand on a dollar to turn on a dime
For the sake of argument, let’s assume that blacks, as a whole, decided that $500 billion including interest from the US Treasury would be a good amount to settle on, divided equally between every black man, woman and child. This would be a burden to all the millions of Americans who had nothing at all to do with slavery. It also wouldn’t take into account many who captured, chained and sold black slaves to be sent to the Americas from Africa. Many of those were blacks and Muslims—as well as whites.
Page 2 of 2 - What we have with the above hypothetical is a precedent setting case for Jews to demand reparations against Egypt and their ancestors, including blacks. Let’s say that these Jews settled on $1 Billion plus 6% compounded interest for 3,500 years.
I went to my banker, Dave O’Reilly and asked him to calculate this amount. He couldn’t—only coming up with $2,130,667,000 for the first 35 years. If one calculated the real reparations over the remaining 3,465 years, it would be in the multi-multi trillions. The self-proclaimed ancestors of ancient Egypt and today’s Egyptian people would be on the wrong end of a long-owed debt.
Just in case you’re under the delusion that Ancient Egyptians looked like the ultra-white Elizabeth Taylor in her role as Cleopatra, here are several historians and scholars who would disagree: W.E.B. Dubois, Chancellor Williams, Cheikh Anta Diop, John G. Jackson, Ivan van Sertima, Martin Bernal and Segun Magbagbeola. They believed that Ancient Egypt was mostly black.
Of course, a couple of million Jews and their descendants could also sue African and Mideast countries for the theft of Jewish properties, assets as well as murders suffered at their governments’ hands. Then there was the razing of Synagogues with Mosques built on top. Jews were citizens of these countries for a thousand years before Mohammed was born.
As the unofficial leader of Jews, I think we’d agree to drop the latter charges and settle for the Egyptian slavery reparations. Then we could all go on with our lives and drop these non-solutions as the useless measures of a never-ending victimhood.
Besides, who needs to be greedy?
