  • A new chapter of Beta Gamma Sigma, an international honor society for business students, has been established at Missouri University of Science and Technology. This spring, 12 students were inducted into the inaugural class.

  • A new chapter of Beta Gamma Sigma, an international honor society for business students, has been established at Missouri University of Science and Technology. This spring, 12 students were inducted into the inaugural class.
    Beta Gamma Sigma membership is reserved for the top students at colleges and universities that are accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.
    “We are excited to have our own chapter of Beta Gamma Sigma at Missouri S&T,” said Dr. Sarah Stanley, assistant professor of business and information technology and Beta Gamma Sigma faculty adviser. “Only the top 7 percent of juniors, the top 10 percent of seniors and the top 20 percent of graduate students are invited to join.”
    Twelve students were inducted to the inaugural class May 8. They are:
    Dalton Gillespie, a senior in business and management systems from Mason, Ohio,
    Joe Harris, a graduate student in business administration from Rolla,
    David Huskisson, a senior in business and management systems from Kirksville,
    Joe Jackson, a graduate student in business administration from Rolla,
    Ron Ludden, a graduate student in business administration from Rolla,
    Lola Mendoza, a senior in information science and technology from St. James,
    Nick Musterman, a senior in information science and technology from Hawk Point,
    Arun Prince, a graduate student in information science and technology from Hyderabad, India,
    Michael Reed, a senior in business and management systems from Wildwood,
    Ryan Roark, a senior in business and management systems and information science and technology from St. James,
    Iris Russell, a senior in business and management systems and information science and technology from Rolla,
    Raj Telaprolu, a graduate student in information science and technology from Hyderabad, India.
