Shut out Sullivan 10-0 on Monday.

The Rolla High School girls’ soccer team put on quite a performance on RHS Senior Night.

Taking a 5-0 lead after eight minutes, the Lady Bulldogs went on to pound Sullivan 10-0 in non-conference action Monday at Lions Memorial Field.

Rolla, ranked No. 4 in the Missouri Class 2 state poll, improves to 18-3.

The Lady Bulldogs were scheduled to end the regular season on Tuesday against district rival Jefferson City Helias.

The Lady Bulldogs produced their 14th shutout of the season on Monday.

Senior forward Nicole Howard recorded a hat trick eight minutes into the game and finished with four goals. Freshman Addy Brow got her first career hat trick with three goals while freshman Morgan Gabriele, junior Natalie Craun and freshman Allie Pernicka all scored one goal.

Sophomore Emma Laney and Howard each had two assists while senior Amy Jernigan, freshman Michelle Kean, junior London Clift, Gabriele and Brow all had assists.

“Sullivan has had some solid results this season, so that is a surprising turn of events,” said RHS head coach Mike Howard of the easy win. “We seem to be playing really well right now. It looks like we have a highly-motivated group of girls at the moment.”

Rolla also won the junior varsity game 3-0.

Caroline Victor scored two goals and Marissa Hill one for the RHS jayvee squad, now 10-3, while Sierra LeClaire and Morgan Phenix got assists. Calista McCormick recorded the jayvee shutout.
