  • District tourney baseball seeds

  • Rolla No. 2 in Class 5 District 10; St. James No. 4 in Class 4 District 9.

  • The Rolla High School baseball team has been seeded second for the Missouri Class 5 District 10 Tournament, to be held May 17-20 at Springfield Glendale High School.
    The Lebanon Yellowjackets (14-7) are the No. 1 seed while Rolla (15-9) is No. 2, Glendale (9-17) No. 3, Springfield Hillcrest (8-16) No. 4, Waynesville (6-15) No. 5 and Springfield Central (4-18) No. 6.
    Lebanon and Rolla received first-round byes.
    On Saturday Glendale meets Central at 11 a.m. while Waynesville takes on Hillcrest at 1:30 p.m.
    In the semifinals on Monday, May 19 Lebanon plays the Waynesville-Hillcrest winner at 4:30 p.m. while Rolla takes on the Glendale-Central winner at 7 p.m.
    The District 10 championship game is slated for 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 20.
    The District 10 champion is scheduled to play the District 9 champion on May 27 in sectional action. Schools in District 9 include Columbia Battle, Camdenton, Jefferson City Helias, Columbia Hickman, Jefferson City High, Columbia Rock Bridge and Sedalia Smith-Cotton.
    The winner of that sectional game moves on to meet either the District 11 or District 12 champion in Class 5 Quarterfinal action on May 29.
    The Class 5 semifinals, third-place and championship games are scheduled to be held June 5-6 at T.R. Hughes Ballpark in O’Fallon, Mo.
    Class 4 District 9
    The St. James Tigers are seeded fourth for the Missouri Class 4 District 9 Tournament, to be held May 17-21 in Salem.
    Sullivan (17-7) is the top-seeded squad in the field while Eldon (11-11) is No. 2, Salem (8-11) No. 3, St. James (8-13) No. 4, Osage (6-14) No. 5 and Owensville (2-20) No. 6.
    In first-round games on Saturday St. James meets Osage at 1 p.m. while Salem takes on Owensville at 3:30 p.m.
    In semifinal games on Monday, May 19 Sullivan meets the St. James-Osage winner at 4 p.m. while Eldon takes on the Salem-Owensville winner at 6:30 p.m.
    The district finals is slated for 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 21.
    The District 9 champion is scheduled to meet the District 10 champion on May 27 in sectional play. Schools in District 10 include Aurora, Hollister, Logan-Rogersville, Marshfield, Mt. Vernon and Reeds Spring.
    The survivor of that sectional game moves on to play either the District 11 or District 12 champion on May 29 in Class 4 Quarterfinals.
    The Class 4 semifinal, third-place and championship games is scheduled for June 6-7 at T.R. Hughes Ballpark in O’Fallon.
