Several first places for Bullpup boys.

The Rolla Junior High School eighth-grade boys’ track team placed second while the Lady Bullpups placed ninth in the 16-school Cuba Invitational on Monday.

For the Rolla boys:

Nicholas Janke was first in the 400-meter dash and high jump.

Davis Buhr took first place in the long jump; second in the 200-meter dash, and third in the 100-meter dash.

Caleb Turner won the pole vault with a PR of 9-6 and was third in the 400-meter dash.

Willis Bolyard was second in the discus.

The Rolla 4x400-meter relay team of Turner, Janke, Jonathan Reese and Bradley Shelton was second.

The Rolla 4x100-meter relay squad of Reese, Buhr, Janke and Turner finished third.

Also, Landon Adams set a PR for Rolla in the pole vault at 9-0.

For the Rolla girls:

Ami Ikuenobe was second in the discus.

Ryleigh Grommet was third in the 200-meter dash.

Allie Harman was third in the 100-meter hurdles.

The 4x200-meter relay team of Harman, Emma Weinbaum, Sydni Perez and Grommet was third.

Also, MacKenzie Clayton set a PR in the pole vault at 6-0.

Rolla was scheduled to compete Tuesday at Lebanon and is to host the Rolla Invitational on Friday at the Rolla Community Track, starting at 3:45 p.m.
