  • The Newburg Children's Museum of Natural History will host its annual Children's Festival Saturday, May 3, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

  • The Newburg Children's Museum of Natural History will host its annual Children's Festival Saturday, May 3, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
    The event is free and open to the public, but donations are always needed and welcome.
    There will be live entertainment. The Missouri University of Science and Technology Dance Club will perform at 10 a.m. followed by the Rolla Choral Arts Society Children’s Choir at 10:30 a.m. At 11 a.m. there will be a performance by andFLEW! Dance Studio. The Ozark Spirit Cloggers will perform at 11:30 a.m. and the Rosa String Works Band will play at noon. Bliss Hippy will play at 1 p.m.
    Attendees can watch artisans demonstrate their craft, pet exotic and domestic animals, take a tour of the museum and participate in one of the many hands-on science and nature activities.
    There also will be children's games, story time, face painting, international and cultural activities and more. Free lunch and drinks will be offered.
    Science activities will be held at 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
