The Maries County Sheriff's Department reported Tuesday night on its Facebook page that Jesse R. Thomas, 33, was arrested in Pulaski County in connection with the incident.
Pulaski County Sheriff Ron Long said the suspect is believed to have been involved in numerous felony offenses, involving two auto thefts, a robbery, the stealing of property and several high-speed pursuits with law enforcement agencies.
According to Long, the suspect was taken into custody by Pulaski County Deputies and Dixon Police Officers Tuesday night, concluding a day-long manhunt along the Gasconade River bottom near Dixon.
