No. 7 Lady Bulldogs move to 6-2 overall and 2-0 in OC.

The Rolla High School girls’ soccer team easily stayed perfect in Ozark Conference play on Tuesday, blasting Springfield Parkview 7-0.

Rolla, ranked No. 7 in the latest Missouri Class 2 state poll, improves to 6-2 overall and 2-0 in the OC.

Senior forward Nicole Howard scored the hat trick for the Lady Bulldogs, netting three goals.

Also for Rolla sophomore Brynn Proffitt, freshman Addy Brow, sophomore Marissa Hill and junior Amber Walters all scored one goal.

Brow had three assists and Proffitt one.

Sophomore Katie Hudson got the shutout in goal, her fourth of the season and Rolla’s fifth in eight games.

Rolla also won the junior varsity game in a blowout 10-0.

Sophomore Caroline Victor erupted for four goals for the Rolla jayvee squad, now 3-1, while Walters had three goals, Morgan Phenix two and Hill one.

Walters had three assists, Victor two, Hill two and Hannah Lenox one for the Rolla jayvee squad. Calista McCormick recorded the shutout in goal.

The competition figures to be much stiffer Thursday, when the Lady Bulldogs go back to Springfield for an outing against league power Kickapoo, starting at 5 p.m.

“We continue a tough stretch of road games at an always-tough Kickapoo,” said RHS head coach Mike Howard. “Hopefully we will continue to improve as the season goes along.”
