  • Rolla police are investigating a weekend burglary reported at Fat Cats Entertainment Complex.
Capt. Jason Smith, of the Rolla Police Department, said the alleged incident was reported Saturday at 12:35 p.m. at the 1100 block of East Highway 72, behind the Family Center in Rolla.
Approximately $500 in property and cash was reported stolen from the building.
Fat Cats owner/operator Josh Noe said he left the building Friday at about 11 p.m. and discovered the items missing when he returned about 11:30 a.m. the next day.
"The double doors were open, but nothing was broken," Noe said. "We checked the emergency doors in the back, but we're not exactly sure how they got in."
The items stolen include an undisclosed amount of cash, a laptop computer and nine bottles of liquor, Noe said.
This is the second time Fat Cats has been allegedly burglarized since opening 18 months ago.
"The main thing is they didn't vandalize or steal TVs or anything," he said. "The only thing that hurt was being closed that weekend...It could have been a lot worse."
As of the now, the case is still under investigation.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Rolla Police Department at 573-308-1213.
Noe said he will not press charges if his laptop is returned.
"What happened, happened. If I can get my laptop back, no charges will be filed," he said. "The liquor and the cash I could care less about."
